Reeve secured 54% of the votes from WNBA journalists and broadcasters. Natalie Nakase, head coach of the Golden State Valkyries, garnered 27% of the votes, while Sydney Johnson of the Washington Mystics received 18%.

Currently in her 17th season with the Lynx, Reeve guided the team to an impressive regular-season record of 33-11, earning the No. 1 seed in the WNBA Playoffs.
