The upcoming Chicago mayoral election is scheduled for February 23, 2027. So far, ten candidates have officially launched their campaigns, with additional announcements anticipated in the coming months. If no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote on February 23, the election will proceed to a runoff between the top two contenders on April 6, 2027, with the inauguration set for May.
