Danielle Fishel, known for her role as Topanga Lawrence in the 1990s series ‘Boy Meets World,’ shared her secret to looking and feeling her best. The actress now focuses on weightlifting and has moved away from traditional cardio workouts.

Fitness Transformation

Fishel credits weightlifting for her improved well-being. She told Fox News Digital that she primarily lifts weights, opting out of conventional cardio. Instead, she enjoys walking for 20 to 30 minutes after each meal.

“I don’t do cardio anymore… I like to walk for 20 to 30 minutes after every meal, but I lift them weights, and it has made all the difference,”

Fishel’s approach to fitness aligns with a growing trend where many people prioritize strength training to build muscle and support long-term health.

Reunion at Tribeca Festival

At the Tribeca Festival, Fishel reunited with former ‘Boy Meets World’ co-stars Rider Strong and Will Friedle. During the event, they discussed the challenges and highlights of growing up in the spotlight.

While catching up, Rider Strong reflected on his working relationship with Ben Savage, praising Savage’s talent and the close bond they shared while filming the sitcom.

“My friendship with Ben? Oh, that we were just amazing co-workers,” said Strong. “He was so talented, and he taught me how to be a child actor really, because you know, I just didn’t know anything, and he was already a pro.”

Reflections on Hollywood

Will Friedle opened up about the challenges of being a child star. He admitted there were times when he considered leaving Hollywood. Despite these doubts, Friedle explained that the passion for entertaining ultimately kept him in the industry.

“The love of needing to entertain,” he said.

‘Boy Meets World’ originally aired on ABC for seven seasons, running from 1993 to 2000.
