Entrepreneur Introduces Edible Candles as New Dining Experience

2 weeks ago 0

An entrepreneur from South Florida is introducing an innovative way to entertain. Claudia Mosley, founder of CeraViva, has developed edible candles that melt into dipping sauces and dessert spreads. This product transforms meals into an engaging experience for guests.

Mosley emphasized that the candle itself is not the product; rather, it serves as the vehicle for creating interactive and enjoyable dining experiences. Featuring organic and premium ingredients, these candles complement various foods including bread, vegetables, seafood, meats, and desserts.

The assortment of flavors includes savory options like chimichurri, shrimp scampi, and parmesan cream. Sweet choices feature raspberry cream, apple pie, and the new Key lime pie. Notably, Mosley shared that her sweet candles contain no added sugar and maintain a balanced taste to enhance culinary enjoyment.

CeraViva candles encourage diners to disconnect from digital distractions and engage in conversation around the table. Mosley, who emigrated from Colombia and succeeded in building a merchant services company, invested over $20,000 to launch CeraViva. She created a patented formula and secured state licenses for production in a commercial kitchen.

These edible candles are available on CeraViva’s website at $38, with an ambition to expand into restaurants. Mosley envisions them as appetizers to stimulate discussion during the dining experience, with the candles transforming into warm sauces in about 20 to 25 minutes.

The potential of edible candles becoming a widespread dining trend is uncertain, but Mosley remains optimistic. By encouraging families to embrace shared dining experiences, she hopes to inspire meaningful connections.

Whether these candles spark a major trend in dining or not, Claudia Mosley is confident they offer a unique approach to rekindle lost family interactions around the table.
