Former Stripper Finds Hope and Redemption Through Faith

5 hours ago 0

Hannah Hirsh, once a stripper for five years, has found peace after leaving the sex industry. Her transformation occurred after a profound encounter with Jesus, which she now uses as a platform to help other women escape similar circumstances.

“During my time in that life, I witnessed very dark aspects,” Hirsh explained to Fox News Digital. “There was a lot of addiction, and I even struggled with my own. Drugs, alcohol, and trafficking were common,” she added.

Hirsh warns women attracted to the idea of quick money that the reality of the lifestyle is grim. “Just wanting to make some quick cash doesn’t reveal the darkness and emptiness that accompanies it,” she said.

Hirsh noted that stripping is glamorized by society as something desirable, but the reality for those living it is far different. “While you’re involved, you don’t find happiness,” she expressed. The pandemic of 2020 shut down clubs in her area, providing her a moment of silence to reconnect with her faith, which pulled her away from the industry.

She believes the true goal is not the glamorous lifestyle society pushes but a relationship with Jesus and eternal life. Hirsh further described the stripping world, sharing that many women rely on drugs and alcohol to numb themselves from the degradation they face daily.

“Being constantly degraded isn’t empowering,” Hirsh stated. “You might walk away with money, but it goes away just as quickly.” She now visits strip clubs to share her message, telling women what she believes God puts in her spirit to say, aiming to plant seeds of hope and redemption.

Hirsh, who founded “Kept by Grace Ministry,” believes that no one is too far gone for redemption through faith. “Jesus associated with those considered too ‘dirty.’ Strippers aren’t beyond saving — anyone can be redeemed by God,” she insists.
