Fox News Maintains Top Position on YouTube and Social Media

Fox News Media secured its status as the leading news brand on YouTube, continuing an eight-quarter streak at the top as of the third quarter of 2026. The company saw 918 million video views, outperforming major competitors. According to data from Emplifi, MS NOW recorded 889 million views, followed by CNN with 712 million, ABC at 442 million, NBC News with 356 million, and CBS News achieving 149 million views.

Within 2026, Fox News accumulated 3.5 billion video views. This figure places them 32% ahead of MS NOW, their closest competitor in viewership numbers. The show The Five maintained its position as the leader in cable news, marking its 20th consecutive quarter in that capacity by surpassing CNN and MS NOW combined in viewership.

Beyond standard news coverage, FOX Business also excelled. During the third quarter, it led the business media category on YouTube for the 27th consecutive quarter, amassing 139 million video views according to Comscore Social.

The dominance continued across social media networks. Fox News achieved the highest level of social media engagement, with 280 million interactions spanning platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok, as noted by Emplifi. Specifically, the interactions numbered 85.1 million on Facebook, 54.1 million on Instagram, 14.6 million on X, and 126.7 million on TikTok.
