FOX One has partnered with the USO to provide live coverage of the World Cup 2026 to U.S. military members stationed overseas. USO Jordan operations specialists, Dundrey Peoples and Lindsay Gray, shared insights on “Fox & Friends” about how this collaboration enables service members to support Team USA and maintain connections with family at home.
“We aim to create a home-like atmosphere for our service members wherever they are deployed,” Gray explained to co-host Ainsley Earhardt. “Even in remote locations, we establish centers that offer a living-room feel.”
Access to Matches
Service members gain access to live games, pregame content, highlights, expert commentary, and memorable moments through FOX One, airing all games on FOX and FS1 and streaming both live and on-demand.
The initiative boosts morale and community spirit among deployed troops, providing a taste of home. Peoples noted, “Initially, there was concern over watching the games and cheering for Team USA, but we managed to host games here, creating an electric atmosphere nightly.”
One service member stationed in Japan watched the South Africa vs. Mexico match while on a call with his mother in the U.S., experiencing the event together. Gray highlighted the theme of “connection,” stating that such experiences enhance bonding with loved ones.
Support for Service Members
Earhardt offered words of encouragement, “Please tell all the service members we support them and are keeping them in our prayers.”
Fans have the option to stream all FIFA World Cup games on FOX One through the championship final on July 19.
