Hulk Hogan’s Legacy Continues with Upcoming Sports Bar in NYC

Hulk Hogan passed away last July, but the influence of Hulkamania endures. In the heart of New York City, next to Madison Square Garden, Nick Hogan and Rich Rosen aim to extend Hulk Hogan’s legacy by opening Hulk Hogan’s SLAM Sports Bar. This new venture pays tribute to pro wrestling history and its legendary figures. The grand opening of the bar is imminent.

Nick Hogan expressed excitement about the bar’s location during an interview with OutKick. He emphasized its proximity to Madison Square Garden, a central hub in New York City, and highlighted its significance to the history and spirit of Hulkamania.

“The location is so special and it’s right next door to Madison Square Garden, right at the entrance to the Garden and Penn Station,” Nick Hogan told OutKick.

Rich Rosen, a long-time New Yorker, reminisced about attending events at Madison Square Garden since the 1970s, witnessing iconic figures like Hulk Hogan, Bruno Sammartino, Muhammad Ali, and Michael Jordan. Rosen dreams of integrating Hogan’s brand into New York City through his collaboration with ICRAVE to design the SLAM Sports Bar.

“What we’re really hoping in Slam, besides all the future and incredible effects that ICRAVE is bringing into this — sound effects and lighting effects — what you really want is you want actually a throwback,” Rosen explained.

SLAM Sports Bar aims to provide a nostalgic experience for patrons, allowing them to reflect on past wrestling eras while enjoying modern events. Visitors can attend current sports championships at Madison Square Garden and step into the bar to reminisce about New York’s vibrant past.

Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, continues to uphold his father’s legacy. He acknowledges that Hulkamania connects sports fans across generations and emphasizes its future significance.

“It means everything to me, and like Rich just mentioned, is that this is spanning past, present, and future,” Hogan said.

Through SLAM Sports Bar, visitors can watch vintage wrestling matches alongside current sporting events, immersing themselves in both historic and contemporary moments. Nick Hogan is dedicated to ensuring that Hulkamania’s spirit flourishes for future generations.

Despite facing some negativity during his final TV appearance, Hulk Hogan remains a seminal figure in professional wrestling. Nick Hogan asserts his father’s unparalleled contribution to the sport’s mainstream popularity.

“Truthfully, I think what matters the most is that he single-handedly is the most important figure in professional wrestling entertainment, and bar none,” Nick noted to OutKick.

Hulk Hogan’s pivotal role in pro wrestling is celebrated as the SLAM Sports Bar prepares to open its doors, offering a unique space where fans can reflect on his enduring impact.
