One of the targets of this campaign is Rep. Mike Collins, a Republican Senate contender in Georgia. He was seen addressing attendees at the GOP midterm convention recently.
AIPAC has been a major player in political campaigns, investing millions of dollars in primary elections this year. As the November elections draw nearer, J Street aims to present itself as a liberal counterforce within pro-Israel advocacy, challenging the established sway of AIPAC.
