Jamie Kennedy Discusses Political Hypocrisy in Podcast

Jamie Kennedy recently spoke out about what he views as hypocrisy in America today. During a solo episode of his podcast, Hate to Break It to Ya, the actor focused on current events like the Fauci hearings and the ongoing discussions around the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kennedy expressed his concerns about people being “beyond brainwashed.” He mentioned personal experiences, saying some have labeled him a “maggot” for liking certain Republican policies.

“I’ve never seen this in human history,” he noted. “If you like something a Republican does, people call you a ‘maggot.'”

Though Kennedy identifies as leaning to the right, he said he has never voted. He stated he supports some liberal policies, but the moment he praises Trump for securing borders, he faces criticism.

According to Kennedy, individuals like him prioritize policy over party and consider themselves “open-minded.” He criticized those on the left for their supposed lack of leniency.

“How can you claim to be inclusive if you don’t include us?” he questioned. “People don’t want you to investigate. They box you if your beliefs differ.”

During the podcast, Kennedy highlighted an event where he performed a comedy set in a parking lot to raise funds for a struggling bar. He pointed out that while his event faced issues, another nearby television crew faced none, highlighting what he calls hypocrisy.

“A female, family-owned business turns into me. And you know what they think I am,” he added.

Kennedy differentiated between right and left political sides, claiming those on the right often stand by their controversial statements.

“If you’re a leftist, your inclusion fails when demands aren’t met,” Kennedy argued.

Kennedy also touched on reactions to the murder of Charlie Kirk, critiquing those who celebrated his death as “beyond sick.” He emphasized the empathy that all humans should feel irrespective of political stance.
