Madden NFL 27 Player Ratings Released

NFL training camps are beginning, and anticipation for the new edition of “Madden NFL” is growing. “Madden NFL 27” is set to release in over two weeks, but fans are already buzzing about player ratings. On Wednesday, EA Sports revealed ratings for top quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers.

Quarterbacks Matthew Stafford, the reigning league MVP, and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills, lead the quarterback ratings. Both players are part of the elite 99 Club.

Stafford, representing the Los Angeles Rams, is listed at the top of the quarterback category, just ahead of Allen. Joe Burrow comes in third with a 97 rating, followed by Lamar Jackson. Patrick Mahomes holds a 93, placing him fifth. Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions completes the top 10 with an 88.

Joining the 99 Club are wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, defensive end Myles Garrett, and tight end Trey McBride.

Smith-Njigba, fresh off winning a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks, signed a historic contract making him the highest-paid in his position. Ja’Marr Chase has consistently exceeded 1,000 receiving yards since starting in 2021.

Puka Nacua, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Justin Jefferson follow Chase and Smith-Njigba in the wide receiver rankings. Mike Evans, now with the San Francisco 49ers, ranks at number 10.

In the running back category, Jahmyr Gibbs of the Detroit Lions leads with a 98. Christian McCaffrey is next at 97, showcasing a strong season rebound. Jonathan Taylor and Bijan Robinson both hold a 95 rating. Kyren Williams of the Rams completes the top list at number 10.

While Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams appears on the cover of “Madden NFL 27,” he aims for a higher player rating by year’s end. Williams focuses on improving his completion rate and avoiding interceptions to join the 99 Club.

The game will launch globally on August 13, with early access available for MVP+ members up to seven days ahead.
