Manhunt for Accused Murderer in Florida

A manhunt is underway in Florida for Isabelle Johnson, who is suspected of murdering Jason Coulthart, 43. Coulthart’s remains were found in a shallow grave on June 25 in Freeport, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

One month of searching for Isabelle Johnson, and our search has not slowed, the agency stated in a recent call for information.

Johnson, 38, is believed to have several distinctive tattoos that could aid the public in identifying her. These include a rose or flower tattoo on her left hand, starting below the thumb and extending toward the index finger. Additionally, an unidentified tattoo on her right ankle and a large scorpion tattoo from her left buttock down her left thigh have also been noted.

Authorities have indicated that Johnson may have altered her appearance by dyeing and cutting her hair.

Suspect Using Aliases and Accomplices

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office has identified several aliases Johnson may use, including Jessica Elaine Bowman, Jessica Elaine Thrush, Jessica Elaine Thrash, Jessica Dowdy, and possibly Denise.

She is believed to have connections to Walton and Okaloosa counties in Florida, parts of Georgia, and lower Alabama. Investigators have warned the public that Johnson may manipulate individuals into providing support through stories of personal hardships.

Five individuals, identified as Michael Ray White, Kathleen Morris, Bobbi Wagstaff, Martin Leaverton, and Sandra Leaverton, have been arrested and charged with accessory to a capital felony after the fact. White allegedly assisted Johnson in evading authorities, while Morris is accused of providing transportation and misleading investigators.

Walton County Sheriff Michael Adkinson emphasized that anyone aiding Johnson could face charges, stating, If you give her a place to stay, help her hide, or lie for her, you will face consequences. This is a homicide case. We will not allow anyone to get in the way of this investigation.

A combined reward of up to $16,000 is available for information leading to Johnson’s arrest.
