Milania Giudice, the third daughter of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice, was arrested on an assault charge in May. The incident occurred in Montville Township, where police responded to a report of a dispute.
According to Chief Andrew Caggiano, officers detained Milania at 6:12 p.m. on May 14. Court records revealed that she was formally charged with Simple Assault, a Disorderly Persons Offense, as stated in N.J.S.A. 2C: 12-1a(1).
“A criminal complaint is merely an accusation,” Caggiano explained. “The defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.”
Milania, 20, entered a plea of not guilty and was released pending a forthcoming court appearance. She has appeared in several episodes of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” alongside her mother, Teresa.
The Giudice family, comprising Teresa and her daughters Gia, Gabriella, and Audriana, has faced their share of legal challenges. Teresa, divorced from ex-husband Joe Giudice after 20 years, was previously sentenced in 2014 on fraud charges. She served her time and was released in 2015.
Joe completed a 41-month sentence in 2019 and is currently living in Italy after facing immigration issues. Meanwhile, Teresa married Louis Ruelas in August 2022, post-separation from Joe.
