4 days ago 0

President Donald Trump recently addressed the media about the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. He reported significant casualties from the conflict, stating that last month saw 25,000 deaths, while the previous month claimed 32,000 lives. Out of these figures, Trump emphasized that 97% were soldiers. He expressed his sorrow over the losses, highlighting the severity of the situation.

According to the Center for Strategic & International Studies, Russia alone has suffered the loss of approximately 450,000 soldiers since the onset of its invasion in 2022. Trump shared his aspiration for a resolution to the conflict, noting his recent discussions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He conveyed his hope for an agreement between Ukraine and Russia, possibly by the upcoming winter.

Trump revealed his efforts in encouraging Zelenskyy to pursue a deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He mentioned mutual understanding on various topics during their talks and consistently pushed for a peace agreement.

Additionally, Zelenskyy announced that Trump had authorized Ukraine to produce U.S. Patriot missile interceptors. This shift in policy marks a significant development in the U.S.-Ukraine relationship. Trump had previously been reluctant to grant such licenses.

Fox News Digital has reached out to the White House for further comments on these developments.
