1 month ago 0

Prince Harry recently shared insights into his current life on the “Joe Marler Will See You Now” podcast, released on July 13. The Duke of Sussex, known for his royal lineage, now emphasizes his role as a devoted father. The podcast, hosted by former England rugby player Joe Marler, was recorded during Harry’s recent trip to the U.K.

The Duke’s Introduction

When prompted by Marler to introduce himself with his full name and occupation, Harry provided his royal title, “Henry Albert Charles David, Duke of Sussex.” He described himself as a “full-time dad” and a “British Army veteran,” though he settled on “Duke” for the podcast.

“He didn’t use his full name but chose to highlight his title,” commentator Kinsey Schofield remarked, noting the lasting connection between Harry’s identity and his royal status.

Podcast Highlights

Harry’s light-hearted banter included discussing his fondness for reality TV. He mentioned “Love Island” as a favorite and recalled the 2014 American reality show “I Want to Marry Harry,” humorously noting his unavailability for it. On a more serious note, he expressed how physical exercise, especially gym time, has been pivotal in managing stress and trauma recovery.

The conversation also covered his grooming habits. Harry joked about his hair color and detailed his straightforward grooming routine, including regular beard trimming and haircuts.

Invictus Games Promotion

Prince Harry spoke about the upcoming Invictus Games, scheduled for Birmingham in 2027. He clarified his role as the “founder,” not the “inventor” of the games. The podcast served as a platform to further promote this significant event.

A Glimpse into Family Life

During his U.K. visit, Harry, along with Meghan, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet, reunited with King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House. The meeting, confirmed by Buckingham Palace, reflected ongoing family engagements alongside their independent pursuits.

In 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle transitioned from their senior royal roles, addressing media scrutiny and pursuing a new life in California. They continue building their lives outside of royal duties while raising their children.
