Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon, 67, recently took a vacation in Sardinia with his wife, Yasmin Le Bon, 61. They were photographed enjoying the sun on the beach. Simon wore red swim shorts and a white V-neck T-shirt, while Yasmin looked stunning in a black string bikini.

The couple was seen walking along the coastline and taking refreshing dips in the ocean with friends. Other photos showed them on a boat, with Yasmin sunbathing and Simon steering the vessel. The pair eventually jumped into the sea for a swim.

Simon and Yasmin’s love story began in 1984 when Simon saw Yasmin’s photo in photographer Mike Owen’s portfolio. He asked for her number, initiating a friendship that blossomed into romance in Paris in 1985. They became engaged and married in December of that same year.

“I wake up in the morning and for ten minutes or so I just get to look at her sleeping peacefully,” Simon shared with the Daily Mirror in 2010. “It’s not always easy at all. But I really want to stay married for life.”

Simon rose to fame as the lead vocalist of Duran Duran, a band formed in 1978. Their success skyrocketed with the 1982 album “Rio,” featuring hits like “Hungry Like the Wolf.” The band members included Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Roger Taylor, and Andy Taylor.

Throughout their career, Duran Duran has won two Grammy Awards and two BRIT Awards, and they received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. In 2022, they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The band continues to thrive, having released “Free To Love,” featuring Nile Rodgers, in 2026. Simon expressed in a Stereogum interview in 2021 that they find joy in creating music, reveling in moments of discovery together.
