Tessa Blanchard Joins Major League Wrestling, Enhances Women’s Division

Professional wrestling star Tessa Blanchard recently signed with Major League Wrestling (MLW), bringing additional strength to the organization’s already impressive women’s division. Earlier this year, MLW welcomed Lady Frost, who shared her thoughts on Blanchard’s arrival during an interview with OutKick Dropkick.

Lady Frost joined MLW in April 2026. Reflecting on Blanchard’s signing, Frost stated, “First of all, it’s an incredible signing. We understand the pedigree that comes with Tessa Blanchard. You’ve heard high tides raise all ships, and I think everyone is just going to want to up their game even more.” Having shared the ring with Blanchard during tours in Mexico, Frost expressed that the addition is beneficial for business.

MLW announced that Tessa Blanchard will make her debut appearance at their Fightland event on September 12 in Charleston, South Carolina. Blanchard, who continues to compete in CMLL, remarked in a press release, “Heavy is the crown, but legacy isn’t handed to you… it’s forged under pressure. I’ve earned my place as one of the best in the world at what I do, but I’m not coming to MLW to rest on the Blanchard name.” She highlighted that MLW offers some of the purest and hardest-hitting action in professional wrestling and expressed her place at the top as the ‘Undeniable Diamond’.

Blanchard is a third-generation professional wrestler. She is the daughter of Tully Blanchard and the granddaughter of renowned promoter Joe Blanchard, as well as the stepdaughter of Magnum T.A.

Lady Frost conveyed to OutKick Dropkick that while she doesn’t rank the MLW women’s division relative to the broader wrestling world, she acknowledged the roster’s strong lineup. “It is stacked. I don’t do rankings. That’s not my department. I do the fighting,” she said. Frost emphasizes that the audience ultimately decides. “It’s $15 to show up to a live event and it’s free on YouTube. So, they can make that decision themselves,” she mentioned, inviting fans to engage with the sport.

Frost is set to face Corinne Joy on Saturday at MLW’s Kings of Colosseum event. Matches from the event can be watched on YouTube, beIN Sports, and Veeps.
