In Uvalde, the county authorities reported significant rescue operations. By Wednesday morning, 25 people were rescued in this area as river levels surged. Commissioner Roy Coachman highlighted the ongoing efforts in northern Uvalde County.

In Boerne, north of San Antonio, the National Weather Service declared a flood emergency. The city experienced up to 12 inches of rain. Chris Shadrock, Boerne’s communications director, reported that water had flooded Main Street, prompting high water rescue operations.
The city, with a population of about 12,300, continued to endure challenging conditions as more rain was expected.
