TNA Wrestling Sees Key Talent Departures

2 weeks ago 0

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) announced significant changes to its roster on Wednesday. Anthem Sports & Entertainment, TNA’s parent company, released a statement confirming the exit of pro wrestling veteran Tommy Dreamer and former TNA world champion Tessa Blanchard.

Fox News Digital had earlier confirmed Blanchard’s departure. The organization stated, “TNA Wrestling today announced a workforce reduction, designed to streamline operations and sharpen strategic focus and profitability.” This restructuring affected TNA’s creative leadership, as Dreamer, who played roles in TNA’s Creative and Talent Relations Departments, has chosen to leave. TNA wished both Dreamer and Blanchard the best in their future endeavors.

Tommy Dreamer shared his thoughts regarding his exit in a heartfelt interview on Busted Open Radio. Moreover, Sami Callihan, another pro wrestler, disclosed his departure. He posted on X, “Thought I was getting called today to be offered a position in creative… nope. I’ve parted ways with TNA. Oh well… onward to the next adventure,” also encouraging fans to support Pro Wrestling Revolver.

These exits follow those of Steve Maclin and Myla Grace, who were announced as leaving earlier in the month. TNA’s aim to streamline has led to multiple such changes recently.

The shifts in TNA’s roster and leadership reflect deeper strategic adjustments within the company. Changes impact not only the wrestlers but also the creative roles guiding the wrestling narrative.
