President Donald Trump arrived at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, on Sunday, August 16, 2026. The event marked the release of new election advertisements by Securing American Greatness, the nonprofit arm of Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc. These ads are part of a national advertising campaign launched on Wednesday. AdImpact, a political intelligence firm, reported that the group allocated $995,000 for this purpose.
The ads predominantly center on Trump and his agenda, with only one mentioning the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, recently passed by Congress. One 30-second advertisement features UFC President Dana White, a Trump ally, speaking in support of the president. This ad also includes clips from Trump’s State of the Union address from earlier this year, combined with various video footage of Trump.
Another advertisement highlights the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, discussing measures such as exempting taxes on tips, overtime, and social security. Trump speaks in the ad about achievements like lowering egg prices and initiatives to reduce prescription drug costs. He also discusses requiring major companies to cover their own power expenses. The narrator concludes by stating, ‘He’s fighting for you every day. Help him finish the job.’
These ads come amid criticism from some Republicans who feel that Trump has not contributed enough funds to maintain the party’s slim majority in Congress. Trump, however, assured that he will increase spending ahead of the midterm elections. Last month, MAGA Inc spent over $827,000 to support Senator Darline Graham of South Carolina in her primary runoff. Trump told reporters, ‘I’ve raised a lot, and nobody knows what it is, but I will tell you it’s about $850 million.’ He emphasized plans to use a significant portion of these funds, alongside his own money, to support Republican candidates he considers suitable.
