U.S. and Iran Acknowledge Progress in Conflict Talks

Officials from Iran and the United States agree that there has been progress in efforts to end the ongoing conflict, though the extent of this progress is still unclear. Recently, President Trump indicated that negotiations were nearing a resolution, yet also stated there was no urgency in finalizing a deal.

Diplomatic discussions resumed in Doha, where senior Iranian officials made visits to continue the peace talks. While Iran recognized advancements in these talks, they clarified that a conclusive agreement is not expected in the near future.
