The event’s success is now the focus of a new Fox documentary titled UFC Fight House: The Making of the Biggest Fight in History.

On June 14, the White House South Lawn transformed into the backdrop for these momentous UFC festivities. Dana White appeared on “The Will Cain Show” to discuss the unprecedented success of the event.

“If you wrote a script, you wouldn’t believe all the things that happen in this thing,” White remarked, emphasizing the reality that outshone fiction.

Video clips revealed President Donald Trump actively engaging in the planning of the event, showcasing his involvement from the start. Trump worked directly with White, mapping out a large-scale outdoor setup to accommodate as many fans as possible.

Trump envisioned a venue capable of hosting 8,000 spectators on the South Lawn, confronting issues posed by the landscape’s unique features. Working closely with White, he pushed for maximizing space and smoothing logistics to pull off the grand event.

The collaboration between the UFC and the president expedited the logistical processes, allowing for the establishment of essentially a stadium on the historic grounds. White commended Trump’s relentless drive to ensure the event’s success.

The event broke records, attracting 34 million global viewers and 85,000 fans to the Fan Fest at the Ellipse. The most astonishing moment occurred when a storm deviated, sparing the fight and enhancing the overall experience.

“Literally, the storm is coming to hit the White House and it breaks apart and goes around the White House and the Ellipse,” White shared, describing the surreal weather phenomenon.

A thunderstorm initially threatened the event, delaying Friday night’s press conference at the Lincoln Memorial. However, the risk paid off, culminating in a seamlessly executed event.

White expressed satisfaction with the outcome, noting that despite battling the unpredictable elements, the event exceeded all expectations. The UFC Freedom 250 remains a milestone in the organization’s storied history.
