Fans of Taylor Sheridan’s ‘Landman’ should brace for a wait before new episodes return. The series, starring Billy Bob Thornton, dives into the oil business in Texas. While it features a strong mix of intense and comedic moments, viewers will experience a hiatus before the next installment.
The popularity of ‘Landman’ remains high among television fans eager for updates. Unfortunately, season three will not air anytime soon. Season two concluded on January 18, 2026. However, recent developments point to a delayed timeline for the next season.
‘Landman’ production shifts its release to 2027.
James Jordan, one of the show’s stars, recently acknowledged the situation. He confirmed that director Stephen Kay is set to return, with production starting in September and continuing into early next year. This means fans will not see a release in 2026. The earliest possible release could be between May and late summer 2027.
Delays like these are common in the entertainment industry. Fans may find solace knowing that Sheridan’s work consistently meets high expectations. As long as ‘Landman’ maintains the quality seen in the first two seasons, the wait should be worthwhile.
