WWE’s JBL Joins BZZR: A Sports-Only Social Media Platform

1 hour ago 0

WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield, known as JBL, is entering the social media arena with BZZR, a new platform aimed at uniting sports fans. JBL has a long history in professional wrestling and now teams up with BZZR, which promises to eliminate distractions and focus solely on sports. The platform boasts other prominent figures from pro wrestling, such as MVP, Kayla Becker, and Dwayne Swayze, adding to its credibility.

BZZR calls itself “the world’s first streaming and social media platform built exclusively for sports without any nonsense or slop.”

In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Layfield explained his interest in BZZR came from his favorite baseball team, the Texas Rangers, partnering with the platform. “I’m a huge Texas Rangers fan,” he shared. His connection to the Rangers traces back to his grandfather, who was blind and used to listen to their games on the radio. This personal connection made the association with BZZR appealing to Layfield.

Layfield is impressed by BZZR’s commitment to focus on sports. He appreciates that it avoids negative interactions common on other social media platforms. “You don’t expect anyone to tell you, ‘You suck’ or you ‘look stupid’,” Layfield commented. On BZZR, users need to provide their real names and pictures, reducing anonymity and potentially discouraging harmful behavior.

John “Bradshaw” Layfield has achieved significant success in professional wrestling. He was the 20th Triple Crown champion and the 10th Grand Slam champion in WWE history. Besides wrestling, he has also appeared as a commentator for AAA Lucha Libre Worldwide.
