Potential Arson Investigated in Harvey Multi-Structure Fire

The Harvey Fire Department is investigating a multi-structure fire that occurred on June 2 as potential arson. The fire, which burned several abandoned homes on Turlington Road, is under scrutiny after evidence suggested intentional setting, according to a statement from the department.

Fire officials reported that the blaze began at 2:30 a.m. on the 15400 block of Turlington Road and was controlled by 4 a.m. The department is conducting additional forensic analysis and investigative work to confirm initial findings. Fire Chief Howard Fisher emphasized the seriousness of the incident, stating that identifying those responsible is a top priority.
