Vicious Vicki Aims for ACW Women’s Championship Contendership

Vicious Vicki is making waves as she crosses the New Jersey state line to re-enter the race for the Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW) Women’s Championship. This Saturday, she will participate in a battle royal featuring 10 women vying to become the No. 1 contender for the title currently held by Steph De Lander. Vicki had previously pinned De Lander at Reckoning in a tag team match. Now, at the Indypendence Day event in Poughkeepsie, New York, the challenge escalates.

I’ve been a part of ACW since the beginning. I’ve self-proclaimed myself as the ‘Queen of ACW,’ yet I have faced being overlooked and overshadowed. I feel that I should be the ACW women’s champion, and on Saturday, I will prove my worth yet again.

Vicki, a native of New Jersey, emphasizes her love for wrestling, inspired by WWE stars like Lita and The Hardy Boyz during their Attitude Era. Since her youth, achieving her dream of becoming a pro wrestler consumed her thoughts.

“I have been a fan for most of my life,” Vicki shared. “At four years old, watching the Attitude Era and those larger-than-life characters, I fell in love with it. I wanted to be like Lita growing up. Wrestling was a constant in my life and a passion I pursued into a career since 2018.”

Mix of Acting and Athleticism

Vicki explains her attraction to wrestling as combining acting and athleticism with eye-catching outfits. “As a kid, it was mesmerizing. Growing up as an athlete and enjoying musical theater made wrestling a perfect blend of my interests. It’s deeper than just being a show,” she noted.

Vicki’s motivation stems from the stories and characters in wrestling. Seeing someone like Lita, a powerful and beautiful figure, inspired her to believe she could achieve similar feats.

ACW Indypendence Day Event
