Ukrainian Refugees Open Unique Jellyfish Museum in Kyiv

1 hour ago 0

Alex and Yana Yanovsky, Ukrainian refugees with over two decades of experience in the aquarium industry, have launched a unique venture in Kyiv. The facility, aptly named The Jellyfish Museum, showcases the fascinating world of these gelatinous sea creatures.

The Yanovskys’ history in the aquarium sector provided them with valuable insights into visitor preferences. Over time, they noticed that jellyfish were particularly popular among aquarium-goers. This observation inspired them to create a dedicated space where people could see and learn about these animals.

The museum features 21 tanks, each housing different species of jellyfish, offering a diverse look at these aquatic creatures. This initiative not only enhances public understanding of jellyfish but also contributes to cultural and educational offerings in Kyiv.
