The rivalry between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, spanning over a century, remains fierce. Last season, they clashed in three memorable encounters, with the Bears achieving impressive victories in two of them. Notably, one win was in the postseason, showcasing their prowess as the NFC North champions and the NFC’s No. 2 seed.
Packers’ receiver Tucker Kraft missed those games due to a season-ending ACL injury in November 2025. In a conversation with Kay Adams on “Up & Adams with Kay Adams,” Kraft shared his views on playing against the Bears in the upcoming season. He emphasized focusing on making an impact regardless of the opponent. Kraft aims to elude defenses and capitalize on every opportunity, acknowledging the historic rivalry with the Bears.
Last season, Kraft appeared in only eight of his team’s 17 games. Despite this, he secured 489 yards and six touchdowns on 32 receptions, making him the third-best receiver for the Packers. His absence was felt in key matchups against the Bears. The Packers lost a thrilling NFC Wild Card Round game to the Bears in January, with a score of 31-27. The game saw Chicago’s Caleb Williams and the offense outscore the Packers 25-6 in the fourth quarter, overcoming a significant deficit.
A standout play in that match was Williams’ pass to DJ Moore for the decisive touchdown. However, Moore has been traded to the Buffalo Bills. Looking ahead, with a healthy lineup including Kraft and quarterback Jordan Love, many believe the Packers will be more formidable against the Bears.
The first face-off this season is scheduled for Week 5 in Green Bay on Sunday, October 11. The teams will meet again on Christmas Day in Chicago, with the game available on Netflix. This adds another layer of excitement to the historic rivalry.
