Christie Brinkley continues to defy age with new photos capturing her striking resemblance to her daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook. The 72-year-old model attended a live performance by John Mayer for SiriusXM in New York alongside her 28-year-old daughter on Wednesday, August 26. Their similar style and youthful appearance led many to compare them to twins.

On the red carpet, Cook wore a fashionable denim-on-denim ensemble. She paired jeans with a denim jacket and added a black tank top to reveal her midriff. Brinkley chose a similar style with denim jeans, a loose black tank top featuring lace patterns, and sheer cutouts, complemented by a green jacket. Lori Loughlin and daughter Olivia Jade also recently impressed fans with their similar appearance on the red carpet.

Hello! Magazine shared a video on their Instagram capturing Brinkley and Cook at the event. They were seen smiling and waving to fans. One fan commented, “Wow no way can Christie be 72 more like 22,” while another expressed admiration with, “Two beauties.”

Brinkley recently posted photos on Instagram promoting her new zero-sugar prosecco line. Fans were quick to confuse her with her daughter in the comments, with one follower saying they mistook her for Cook. Last year, Brinkley discussed dating on Kristin Davis’ “Are You a Charlotte?” podcast. She revealed a humorous situation where she and Cook found themselves matched with the same men online, even with a 44-year age gap. “[Sailor] said, ‘Mom, you’re right not to go on [dating apps] because the same guys that, you know, said yes to me are saying yes to you,’” Brinkley shared.

Brinkley has been married four times and shared insights on relationships. She mentioned that men often seek partners who are impressed by their actions.
