Stan Kroenke, the owner of numerous professional sports teams, has reached an agreement to purchase the Los Angeles Angels from Arte Moreno. This move ends Moreno’s longstanding tenure as the owner of the Major League Baseball franchise and further expands Kroenke’s extensive sports holdings.
Kroenke, who already owns Arsenal F.C., the Denver Nuggets, and the Colorado Avalanche, is adding the Los Angeles Angels to his impressive collection of sports franchises.
The acquisition was announced by Kroenke Sports and Entertainment on Tuesday and is anticipated to be finalized in the first quarter of 2027. This transaction is subject to approval by Major League Baseball’s owners.
As of now, further details regarding the deal remain undisclosed.
