DHS Refutes Claims on ICE Arrest Guidelines

4 days ago 0

Recent news reports suggested that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) instructed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to halt the arrest of suspected illegal migrants without criminal charges. The DHS has strongly denied these claims.

The initial report came from Daily Wire, claiming to have information from ‘agency sources’. They alleged that ICE was directed to target only those illegal migrants with existing criminal convictions or charges.

In a statement on platform X, DHS countered these assertions, stating: “This is false. No one is off the table. We will continue to arrest any and all illegal aliens that come into our path. Anyone in our country illegally will be arrested and deported.”

ICE has also initiated a widespread public safety operation in sanctuary cities. The focus is on apprehending criminal illegal aliens, including those released from jails owing to sanctuary policies. This includes individuals involved in serious crimes such as murder, rape, and gang activity.

This is a developing story and further updates will follow.
