Trump Family Celebrates Grandmother’s 100th Birthday

The Trump family recently gathered to celebrate a significant milestone. Ivanka Trump shared moments from the special occasion, celebrating her maternal grandmother, Marie Zelníčková’s 100th birthday. Zelníčková, affectionately known as “Babi,” was at the center of a celebration with four generations in attendance—an event filled with love and memories.

“100 years of life, love, family, and memories,” Ivanka expressed in her social media post. The gathering took place on Saturday, September 26, at Ivanka Trump’s residence in Miami, Florida. Marie Zelníčková was surrounded by her three grandchildren and all 10 great-grandchildren.

Ivanka emphasized the importance of the event, highlighting the legacy of four generations. She shared a photograph with her niece Kai and grandmother from a Thanksgiving gathering in 2008 at Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach.

The event featured several members of the Trump family, including Ivanka, her husband Jared Kushner, and their three children: Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore. Eric Trump attended with his wife Lara and their children, Luke and Carolina. Donald Trump Jr. was present with his wife Bettina Anderson and his five children from a previous marriage.

Despite the joyful occasion, there was an emotional acknowledgment of Ivanka’s mother and Zelníčková’s daughter, Ivana Trump, who passed away in July 2022. Ivanka mentioned that although her mother’s physical presence was missed, her love was felt through the stories shared.

Ivanka paid tribute to her grandmother, acknowledging her profound impact on the family. “Babi, your century of love has shaped generations and lives in every one of us,” she wrote. She expressed love and admiration for her grandmother, who played a crucial role in her upbringing and now resides with their family.

Earlier, Ivanka became emotional speaking about her grandmother in an interview, highlighting her nurturing nature and the blessing of her presence in their home. Ivanka reflected on how experiencing loss and witnessing her grandmother’s aging changed her views on family and time, reminding her of the importance of cherishing life and familial bonds.
