AEW Debuts New Match: Clockwork Carnage Set for WrestleDream

2 hours ago 0

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is known for its innovative matches that captivate audiences. Unique events like Stadium Stampede, Anarchy in the Arena, Blood and Guts, and Casino Gauntlets illustrate AEW’s creativity. Now, a new match format will make its debut during WrestleDream.

The Clockwork Carnage Match

The Clockwork Carnage match introduces a dynamic format involving eight wrestlers. The match begins with two randomly chosen participants. Every three minutes, another randomly selected wrestler enters, creating a chaotic atmosphere.

As action intensifies, any wrestler pinned or forced to submit is eliminated. This continues until all eight participants have joined the battle.

Once all wrestlers are present, a 15-minute scoring period begins. Competitors earn points for each pinfall or submission. At the end of this period, the wrestler with the most points will be crowned the winner.

High Stakes and Key Participants

In a thrilling twist, the AEW World Championship will be at stake in the first Clockwork Carnage match. Current champion Will Ospreay will defend his title against serious contenders. Ospreay secured the championship by defeating Kenny Omega in a previous event.

Before WrestleDream, Ospreay must defend his title against Kazuchika Okada at the Grand Slam France event. Additionally, Jack Perry and Samoa Joe will compete for a spot in the Clockwork Carnage match. Samoa Joe recently returned to AEW during All Out after a brief break.

Event Details

WrestleDream is scheduled for October 17 at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. Fans eagerly anticipate the debut of the Clockwork Carnage match, with high expectations for groundbreaking wrestling action.
