2 hours ago 0

News about the third installment of the “Sicario” film series is generating interest. Known for its intense narrative, the franchise, originally created by Taylor Sheridan, has made a notable impact on cinema in recent years. The first film, released in 2015, is particularly praised for its quality.

Although a third movie is confirmed, conflicting reports emerged regarding whether Taylor Sheridan would once again be contributing his writing talents. However, it’s been clarified that Sheridan will not pen the script for this sequel. Steven Knight will take on the task instead.

“I’m thrilled to see Benicio Del Toro, Emily Blunt, and Josh Brolin returning. Their chemistry is outstanding,” commented a fan.

Josh Brolin, who portrays CIA operative Matt Graver, along with Benicio Del Toro and Emily Blunt, is set to return for the third film. While Blunt was absent in the sequel, she played a key role in the original movie.

Speaking to ScreenRant, Brolin addressed the script’s development. He reported that the project remains in the “notes process,” with contributors actively refining the script.

Expressing his excitement, Brolin highlighted the joy of collaborating once more with Del Toro and Blunt. He mentioned, “This marks my sixth collaboration with Benicio. Working with Emily again feels fantastic. Our previous experiences together have been magical.”

The precise release date for “Sicario 3” remains undisclosed. Fans can expect it to take some time before the film reaches theaters.
