Elizabeth Hurley’s Eye-Catching Ring and Role in ‘The ‘Burbs’

Elizabeth Hurley recently drew attention with selfies featuring a striking ring. The 61-year-old actress shared behind-the-scenes photos from the set of her new TV show. Her selfies, taken in a white bathrobe, highlighted a large diamond ring on her left hand. In one image, Hurley lounged on a bed with the ring noticeably sparkling.

Fans speculated about the ring, questioning if it related to her relationship with country singer Billy Ray Cyrus or was part of her character’s wardrobe. Elizabeth struck a sultry pose in a robe with her highlighted brunette hair cascading around her face.

Hurley will portray Beverly “Bev” Fisher in Peacock’s show “The ‘Burbs.” Inspired by the 1989 film starring Tom Hanks, the comedy follows a couple uncovering secrets in a suburban neighborhood. Hurley’s character remains a mystery, although she will join as the mother of Rob Fisher, played by Jack Whitehall. A colorful bouquet welcomed Hurley to the set, signifying the start of her role in the show’s second season.

In real life, Hurley’s relationship with Cyrus is well-known. They went public in April 2025 and first met filming “Christmas in Paradise” in 2022. Their connection grew when Hurley contacted Cyrus during a tough time, with the singer expressing gratitude for their chemistry. The couple’s blended life spans countries, with Cyrus spending time at Hurley’s country home in England.

Hurley humorously noted Cyrus’s attempts at embracing domesticity. Despite his efforts to learn household skills, he contributed by picking apples from her orchard. The significance of the ring remains unclear, as Hurley has not commented.
