Chicago police conducted a death investigation after discovering a man’s body in a garbage container in Austin. The body was found just after 1:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of West Arthington Street, according to initial reports from the police.
The man, whose identity remains unknown, was pronounced dead on site. An autopsy was scheduled to take place on Sunday to determine the cause of death. Authorities have not disclosed the condition of the body or whether there were signs of trauma as detectives from the Harrison Area continue their inquiries.
