After trying products from all three of the brand’s lines for three months, I compiled my honest thoughts on their effectiveness for natural hair.

Addressing common dryness issues, Cécred’s shampoo, infused with hyaluronic acid and a blend of oils including baobab, moringa, and black seed, provides deep hydration. I followed my usual routine of shampooing twice, sometimes starting with Cécred’s Detoxifying Shampoo. After using it over multiple washes, even with braids, it remained one of the most hydrating shampoos I’ve tried, keeping my hair moisturized for days.

The conditioner, sharing hydrating elements with the shampoo and adding amino acids for repair, stood out on days without time for deep conditioning. I applied it after shampooing and noticed softer, hydrated hair post-detangle, aiding in knot prevention. The thick texture melted into my hair, providing ease in detangling.

Deep conditioner is crucial for natural hair. This one left my hair incredibly soft, encouraging more frequent deep conditioning. With rice water and rose protein to enhance hair strength and retention, it diminished breakage significantly after just three uses. Though the application was tedious, involving two steps with five-minute intervals, its benefits outweighed the inconvenience.
