Aaron Donald, now 35, is assessing if he is ready for an 11th NFL season, having last played for the Rams in 2023. Over his career, Donald has achieved numerous accolades, including ten Pro Bowl selections and three Defensive Player of the Year awards. His stats include 154 regular-season games, 543 combined tackles, 111 sacks, 21 passes defended, and 24 forced fumbles.
Rejoining the Rams would place Donald alongside a revamped defense that integrated significant additions this offseason. Donald had initially retired from football in 2024, citing a lack of desire for training and a sense of fulfillment with his achievements. Recent developments have reignited his passion, possibly due to the Rams’ enhanced talent pool. On offense, the Rams feature quarterback Matthew Stafford, last year’s NFL MVP, along with top-tier wide receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.
