San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has shown remarkable performance at the start of the 2026 NFL regular season. Through the team’s first three games, Purdy has an impressive completion rate of 72.3% for his passes, accumulating 789 yards. He currently leads the league with nine touchdowns and has thrown only one interception. Additionally, Purdy has contributed on the ground, with 93 rushing yards and one touchdown.

In the recent Week 3 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, Purdy passed for 297 yards and secured four touchdowns. These achievements have earned him recognition by the NFL as the NFC Offensive Player of the Month, announced on Thursday.

Reacting to his accolade, the 49ers commented, “Hit the Dougie one time.”

Purdy’s outstanding play has positioned the 49ers at first place in the NFC West, with contenders like the Seattle Seahawks at 2-1, and both the Los Angeles Rams and Cardinals at 1-2 trailing behind.

Veteran linebacker Fred Warner praised Purdy and the offensive unit after the Week 3 game. “Brock is amazing,” Warner noted. “The offense is humming right now. It’s our job as a defense to make sure that we handle our business.”

Looking ahead, Purdy and the 49ers aim to maintain their strong performance in the upcoming Week 4 face-off against the Denver Broncos.
