Engineering experts concluded that after a detailed investigation, the repair efforts for the office-to-apartment conversion project will take several months but should resume successfully. This concerns the former Pfizer headquarters in New York City.

On the previous day, New York City authorities ordered the evacuation of several blocks around the Midtown Manhattan construction site. Officials announced on Wednesday that the building is now considered ‘stable’ and urgent repairs are in progress. Still, many local residents and employees are unsure about their next steps.
