Steve Witkoff, the U.S. special envoy to the Middle East, recently attended a UFC event on the South Lawn of the White House. He accompanied Vice President JD Vance during the event.
The Vice President has been assigned the role of guiding the regime in ‘learning the ways of peace.’ However, the prospect of a significant deal between the United States and Iran remains uncertain. Observers remain doubtful.
The situation is reminiscent of past attempts where similar promises of imminent peace have been made. Since February 28, the president has reportedly declared at least 38 times that peace was imminent as of June 9.
