Representative Thomas Kean Jr. has returned to his home in New Jersey after being absent from Congress for nearly four months. On Wednesday evening, he was seen at his Westfield residence, wearing a dark suit and red tie.

When approached by a reporter, Mr. Kean expressed his intention to speak the following week but did not provide further comments. His wife, Rhonda, was present and smiled from the background.

Aides revealed that Mr. Kean, 57, was undergoing treatment for a health condition and is expected to make a full recovery. However, no specifics were shared as Mr. Kean missed over 100 floor votes since mid-March.
