Diane Farr, star of Fire Country, has moved away from Los Angeles after living there for 30 years. The 56-year-old actress shared on Instagram her reflections on this significant life change, describing her departure while recalling her long history in the city.

Farr explained that she originally moved from New York City to Los Angeles at the age of 26 to pursue acting opportunities. Despite not being a native or having attended school there, she chose Los Angeles for its representation possibilities. Throughout her career, Farr has been part of successful shows like Roswell, Numb3rs, and most recently, Fire Country.

In addition to her professional achievements, Farr recounted personal milestones achieved during her time in Los Angeles. She expressed gratitude for raising her children and creating cherished memories. She emphasized the impact the city had on her family life and how her family roots extend to Los Angeles.

Farr shares three children with her former husband, Seung Yong Chung: son Beckett, 18, and twin daughters Coco and Sawyer, 17. Her social media posts included visual highlights from her last day in the city, as she said goodbye to her home and embarked on a new phase of life.

Reflecting on this transition, Farr hinted at exploring life in different countries. She described this new period as her “third act,” signifying personal growth and a new direction. Farr conveyed mixed emotions about leaving Los Angeles, calling it a challenging decision despite having realized her dreams there.

Fans showed support in the comments, wishing her well on her new journey. The popular television series, Fire Country, concluded its fourth season in May.
