Prosecutors have accused a group of individuals, including both current and former students, of engaging in drug activities at Penn State University. Allegations point to the packaging of drugs at the Delta Upsilon and Sigma Chi fraternity houses.

On Tuesday, Agostino Abbatiello, 24, described as one of the alleged leaders, was arraigned and denied bail. He faces several felony charges, among them possession with intent to deliver cocaine and conspiracy. The authorities have also charged 13 other individuals. This includes former students and at least four who are currently studying at Penn State.

The incident has drawn significant attention due to the involvement of fraternity houses, raising concerns about illegal activities within educational institutions. This development adds to ongoing discussions around campus safety and the role of fraternities in university settings.
