FBI Partners with UFC for Unique White House Event

3 weeks ago 0

The FBI received a major revamp as Washington readied to host an unprecedented sporting spectacle on White House grounds. On Wednesday, a video surfaced featuring FBI Director Kash Patel announcing the FBI’s collaboration with the UFC. This partnership enabled approximately 300 federal agents to undergo hand-to-hand combat training in preparation for UFC Freedom 250.

Thanks to the great partnership with @ufc, we’ve seen about 300 agents come through and learn amazing tactics so they can safeguard American lives, wrote Patel on X, sharing clips from the training sessions.

FBI Director Kash Patel highlighted the agency’s efforts in managing foreign custody transfers of two significant figures, from Iraq and Colombia, respectively. The FBI’s Rapid Response team expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, sharing training session videos and remarking, Greatest fighters in the world meet greatest cops in the world!

This kind of collaboration is feasible when the FBI director has UFC chief Dana White as a close contact. UFC lightweight contender Justin Gaethje featured in the footage, having assisted in training FBI agents and academy staff at Quantico’s Special Agent Academy earlier this year.

Recently released video showed Gaethje using the FBI Headquarters to prepare for his imminent lightweight title clash against Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250.

The event attracted notable attention, including a meeting between President Donald Trump, UFC fighters Ilia Topuria, Justin Gaethje, and Ciryl Gane at the Oval Office on May 6, 2026. They discussed the upcoming UFC Freedom 250 match scheduled for June 14 at the White House.

Prior to the event, competitors planned to utilize the Eisenhower Executive Office Building as locker rooms before making their way to The Claw, a large Octagon on the South Lawn.

Additionally, adrenaline enthusiast Travis Pastrana prepared a surprise performance to commence the main card broadcast. A video shared by White on Tuesday hinted that the stunt might include Pastrana back-flipping his dirt bike across the South Lawn.

The melding of federal agents training alongside UFC professionals, a title fighter preparing at FBI headquarters, and a UFC event at the White House might have seemed far-fetched years ago, yet it’s now the weekend’s must-see event.
