Hasan Piker Warns of Challenges for Progressive Movement After Wisconsin Primary

Far-left streamer Hasan Piker warned that ‘the knives will be out’ for the socialist left following the loss of Wisconsin state Rep. Francesca Hong in the Democratic gubernatorial primary to Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley. During his livestream on Tuesday night, Piker argued that Democratic establishment figures would intensify efforts to block insurgent candidates, noting they no longer underestimate the progressive movement. This loss serves as a caution for socialists aiming to capitalize on recent primary victories.

Piker, who previously appeared alongside Hong and Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., at an August campaign rally, emphasized the need for vigilance. ‘It will be more difficult, though, because the establishment will not underestimate us. It will continue to undermine us, but they will not underestimate us,’ Piker stated.

Hasan Piker is a Hamas-hugging radical with a long history of threatening rape and violence against those he disagrees with. Democrats would do right to disavow him, but they’ll continue to bend to his will like spineless, useful idiots, said RNC national spokesperson Natalie Baldassarre in response to Piker’s remarks.

The Wisconsin primary highlighted a clash between the party’s socialist left and its traditional coalition. Hong, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), had backing from notable figures such as Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., and Ro Khanna, D-Calif., as well as former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner and Wisconsin DSA chapters.

Crowley managed to reenter the race after initially leaving it, securing endorsements from retiring Democratic Gov. Tony Evers and other key supporters, including the Professional Firefighters of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Laborers’ District Council, and various local officials.

In a prior interview, Hong attempted to distance herself from Piker after participating in his livestream for campaign fundraising, stating that sharing a platform does not equate to endorsing all views expressed by the host.

Spencer Pratt, former Los Angeles mayoral candidate and TV personality, mocked the DSA’s reaction to Hong’s defeat, with commentary on social media. Beetlejuice Bob isn’t taking the Hong loss well, he commented. Piker acknowledged Crowley’s win was far from the worst result and predicted Crowley would defeat Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany in November.

Milwaukee election officials experienced delays in the county’s vote tally, with human error leading to five of nine memory sticks containing audit logs instead of election results. The Democratic gubernatorial primary was ultimately called early Wednesday.
