Jessie Cave, known for her role in “Harry Potter,” has shared insights on how joining OnlyFans has significantly impacted her life. In a conversation with The Times, Cave revealed that her earnings from the subscription-based platform have surpassed those from her acting career, all within a year.
“I expected to earn about five grand and use it as a temporary solution for a few months,” Cave stated. “Now, over a year and a half later, it has truly been a lifeline.” Her OnlyFans account charges subscribers $6 monthly for non-explicit content focusing on hairstyling, where she appears in full costumes, engaging in activities like brushing, braiding, and styling her hair.
Cave’s success on OnlyFans has been substantial; she earned approximately $20,200 in a single day. Her journey to the platform began after missing a callback for an audition and seeking ways to financially support her family, including her four children with fiancé Alfie Brown. “I was at a desperate point,” Cave confessed. “Working in a supermarket wasn’t feasible due to childcare costs and public recognition from my past roles.”
Her OnlyFans content is driven by the idea that her “hair is the main character,” acknowledging the platform’s association with adult content yet emphasizing a diverse range of offerings like cooking and personal training videos. “It is about seeking some kind of attention,” Cave noted, embracing her quirky persona as a change from her perceived invisibility after motherhood.
Many other artists may also explore similar platforms for financial opportunities outside their primary artistic endeavors. Jessie Cave has previously articulated her decision in March 2025 via Substack, aiming to alleviate debt and invest in personal empowerment after challenges in her past.
