However, he is now attempting to overturn these convictions.

On November 13, 2022, Kohberger killed Kaylee Goncalves along with Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin after entering their home. His DNA was linked to a knife sheath left at the scene.
Kristi Goncalves described Kohberger as a ‘demon,’ troubled by the events that unfolded that night. Her daughter suffered severe injuries, and both parents found the murders indicative of Kohberger’s disturbing fantasies.
