During his monologue, Jimmy Fallon joked that it is ‘the second book Biden has written,’ humorously claiming, ‘the first was The Odyssey.’ Fallon kept the jokes coming, saying the memoir was written by a ‘ghostwriter, Joe Biden.’ With a playful tone, he said, ‘the book is about what Biden remembers from his presidency, so it’s three pages,’ and added that ‘toward the end it starts being written by Kamala Harris.’

On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, guest host Ike Barinholtz covered a less serious but widely discussed issue—an outbreak of explosive diarrhea. He noted that it had spread to 34 states. Barinholtz engaged the audience with humor, suggesting, ‘turn to the person to your right, then turn to the person to your left. All three of you are about to get explosive diarrhea.’

Barinholtz’s comedic commentary included a jab at the administration for the outbreak’s spread, due to CDC budget cuts. He joked about naming the outbreak ‘Trump Diarrhea,’ given the president’s penchant for putting his name on things.

Meanwhile, correspondent Michael Kosta humorously questioned the logic of cutting funding for tracking the ongoing diarrhea issue, highlighting the absurdity of the situation with, ‘Let me see if I can figure this out.’
