MAHA Activists Challenge Trump and RFK Jr. on mRNA Vaccines

1 week ago 0

Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) activists are pressuring President Trump and Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to take action against mRNA vaccines. They demand the removal of these vaccines from the market, stating disappointment over lack of decisive actions.

In a strong open letter, these activists have threatened to withdraw their political support if the inaction persists. The letter highlights internal conflicts within Kennedy’s MAHA movement, a political alliance with Trump, elevating issues like vaccine safety and corporate interests in federal agencies.

The activists expressed their frustrations, stating, “We did not fight to place you in positions of leadership so that our clearly stated policy goals would suffer a ‘bait and switch’ that rebranded the grassroots powerful objection to the mRNA platform as a concern about coloring agents in Skittles.”

MAHA has been instrumental for Trump by bringing Kennedy, who previously was a Democrat, into his administration. Kennedy’s partnership provided the Republican party access to a new voter base crucial for electoral success despite Trump’s low approval ratings.

The letter had over 100 signatories, including vaccine skeptics like Robert Malone, and other prominent conservatives such as Rep. Thomas Massie and Tucker Carlson. It criticized the new CDC Director Erica Schwartz for affirming the safety of mRNA technology during her Senate confirmation. They also opposed Kennedy’s HHS decisions, like approving an mRNA-based flu vaccine and contracting with Pfizer for future vaccines worth over $1 billion.

The letter warns, “Health freedom voters can and will walk away if we continue to see inaction—or condescending non-policy— on our core issues.”

The activists’ stance underscores the importance of the health freedom vote, asserting neither party would have succeeded without it.
